How Women Contribute towards a Happy Married Life

Marriages fail because people listen to the whispers of their greatest enemy, Satan. He is the destroyer of marriages, and he hates marriages. The best feast of Satan is when he causes a split in a marriage.

People should fear Allah SwT and not listen to the whispers of Satan, because he causes doubts in the minds of couples and make it seem that there is no way out in a situation. People should have faith and refuse to be fooled by Satan.

Here are a few suggestions to women in light of Islam to maintain a happy married life:

#1.Avoiding Arguments

First of all you should avoid arguments. Arguments are fire in the house that women should extinguish with a simple “I am sorry” even when you are not to be blamed. You should not fight back, as doing so is only adding fuel to the

#2.Being Duitiful

A good Muslim wife should be attentive to the well being and comfort of her husband and should always be trustworthy and kind. A woman should strive to be encouraging towards her husband and family.

Our Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) taught us that any woman that dies in a state where her husband is pleased with her, she shall enter Jannah. So women should treat their husbands nicely.

#3.Accepting Husband’s Seniority

A good Muslim woman should also be obedient towards her husband, regardless of her intelligence or skills. As a wife, you should always accept your husband as the head of the family and the household and should always obey every of his commands, as long as you are not disobeying Allah (SwT) in the process of obeying your husband.

#4.Gratitude

You should also be grateful to your husband and show appreciation for what he does for you and the family. You should never make him feel that he is not doing good enough, or you are not satisfied with his efforts.

It was reported that our Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said:

“On the day of Judgment, Allah will not look upon the woman who has been ungrateful to her husband.”

#5.Being Nice to Husband’s family

Maintain good relations with your husband’s family, especially his mother and avoid saying anything bad about his family.

#6. Make Lots of Dua

And lastly, make du’a to Allah to bless your marriage and also make du’a for the well-being of your husband.
