Britain’s Prince Charles, along with his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, are currently on a three-nation Gulf tour.
Charles and his wife arrived on the UAE on Monday as part of their tour within the Gulf region.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation, as well as Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, minister of state for tolerance welcomed the Royal Family upon their arrival.
Shortly after their arrival, the couple went on a grand tour of Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Charles also had a meeting with Bishop Paul Hinder of one of Abu Dhabi’s two Catholic churches.
A reception was also held, where people from different walks of life had an opportunity to meet the Royal couple.
Although the Abu Dhabi the mosque was still undergoing construction, Charles visited. However, he was still impressed and amazed by the wonderful architecture.
The couple previously visited Oman as part of their three-nation tour, which will conclude in Bahrain.
