It is said that Global Star Rating System for Services would from now on, rate Dubai’s commercial establishments.
This announcement was made by the Dubai Department of Economic Development. It also plans on a partnership with the Global Star Rating System for Services and would apply the system on Dubai’s commercial facilities.
Ohood Al Roumi (Minister of State for Happiness, Director-General of the Prime Minister’s Office) made an emphasis on the UAE’s keenness on sharing the best practices and experiences with all public, semi-public and private sectors.
He praised the DED initiative to adopt and apply the service rating system, Al Roumi said, “The Global Star Rating System for Services is one of the leading initiative launched by the UAE government under the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in a bid to upgrade services and ensure the satisfaction of customers”.
Al Roumi added that the enthusiasm of Dubai establishments to adopt the system focuses on the effect and importance of it worldwide.
Sami Al Qamzi (Director General of the Department of Economic Development) said in a statement “The application of the new rating system is a concrete implementation to the vision of the wise leadership to ensure the satisfaction of the community and score first positions in all development and service indices so as to strengthen Dubai’s status on the global business map and promote its investment attractiveness as well as improve the welfare of the society and quality of service”.
