On the 4th of October, there will be over a thousand exhibition from 46 countries at the Water, Energy, technology and Environment Exhibition (Wetex 2016). It’ll be the first solar show.
The event will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and will be organized by the Dubai Electricity and water Authority. Experts in energy, environment and water will also be brought in.
Exhibitions is expected to grow (1,900) and is scheduled to end by October 6
“Wetex tackles the environmental issues and current challenges faced by most countries worldwide … we are working to provide a suitable environment for forging new partnerships and agreements and highlighting opportunities during the exhibition,” said Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer (managing director and chief executive of Dewa, at a press conference in Dubai).
“In addition to this, Wetex will review the latest developments and innovations by participants, which will reflect on the role of Dubai as a leading global hub, as well as demonstrating the mandate of the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050, which aims to turn Dubai into a green city,” he added.
Wetex will also include the Innovation Hall, which will showcase innovative products, promote scientific research and help devise innovative solutions in energy, water, environment and sustainability, Al Tayer said.
“A number of initiatives related to sustainability and Shams Dubai will be announced during Wetex”, according to Al Tayer.
