Ayahs On Living By The Limits Of Allah (SWT)’s Commandments (continuation)

As with every major religion in the world, Islam has certain bounds and creeds that Muslims have to abide by in order to not transgress. The following is a continuation of a few of the limits Allah (SWT) has set for His believers.

#1.Say: “O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the even way. (Surah Al-Ma’ida, 77)

#2. A divorce is only permissible twice: after that, the parties should either hold Together on equitable terms, or separate with kindness. It is not lawful for you, (Men), to take back any of your gifts (from your wives), except when both parties fear that they would be unable to keep the limits ordained by Allah. If ye (judges) do indeed fear that they would be unable to keep the limits ordained by Allah, there is no blame on either of them if she give something for her freedom. These are the limits ordained by Allah.so do not transgress them if any do transgress the limits ordained by Allah, such persons wrong (Themselves as well as others). (Surah Al-Baqara, 229)

#3. If any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for Allah. (Surah An-Nisa’, 30)

#4. O ye who believe! make not unlawful the good things which Allah hath made lawful for you, but commit no excess: for Allah loveth not those given to excess. (Surah Al-Ma’ida, 87)

#5. Why should ye not eat of (meats) on which Allah.s name hath been pronounced, when He hath explained to you in detail what is forbidden to you – except under compulsion of necessity? But many do mislead (men) by their appetites unchecked by knowledge. Thy Lord knoweth best those who transgress. (Surah Al-An‘am, 119)

#6. Call on your Lord with humility and in private: for Allah loveth not those who trespass beyond bounds. (Surah Al-A‘raf, 55)

#7. Those that turn (to Allah.in repentance; that serve Him, and praise Him; that wander in devotion to the cause of Allah,: that bow down and prostrate themselves in prayer; that enjoin good and forbid evil; and observe the limit set by Allah.- (These do rejoice). So proclaim the glad tidings to the Believers. (Surah At-Tawba, 112)
